This HD Layshaft allows the use of the Associated slipper clutch system which allows for more consistent slipper feel and more spur gear options to accommodate for gear ratios of today's brushless motor. The AE clutch system also allows the spur gears to run more true and less likely to tweak during rotation. AE clutch parts are required to complete this assembly and are not included.
