This is a 4mm Titanium Turnbuckle upgrade kit that greatly increases turnbuckle strength. This kit is especially designed for those that currently have plastic links, are using older generation 3mm diameter turnbuckles or for those that want a stronger option than Chinese steal. If you are upgrading from plastic links or 3mm links you will need the Traxxas rod ends listed below. Include - fasteners where needed.
Kit Features:
- 4/5mm nut for easy turnbuckle adjustment.
- Increased strength and reduction in weight compared to plastic and/or steel links.
- Converts lower end models or older models to fully adjustable 4mm turnbuckles.
- All necessary fasteners included for the conversion. (Rod ends are not included for those that are upgrading from plastic links or 3mm diamter tie rods. Rod ends needed are noted below).
What's Included:
1 - 3mm x 25mm PUNISHER Titanium Turnbuckle (Servo).
2 - 4mm x 40mm Titanium Turnbuckles (Rear Camber). When upgrading from plastic links, use with Traxxas rod end TRA5525.
2 - 4mm x 50mm Titanium Turnbuckles (Front Camber). When upgrading from plastic links, use with Traxxas rod end TRA5525.
2 - 4mm x 60mm Titanium Turnbuckles (Steering). Rod end 5525 may be required. Refer to the exploded view of your particular model for what rod ends you have.
6 - 3mm x 16mm Button Head Allen Screws. For use on front and rear camber links when upgrading from plastic links.Grade 5 Titanium is roughly a 45% weight savings over steel.
