This Tamiya 1/24 scale model replica recreates the 2018 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing TS050 Hybrid car, which made a huge splash in the racing world thanks to a refined design with great aerodynamics and a hybrid powertrain pairing a 2.4-liter engine and lithium-ion battery. In 2018 they became the second Japanese car manufacturer to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Toyota scoring a 1-2 finish!
Paint and assembly required.The form of the 2018 version of the TS050 Hybrid is captured with superb accuracy: updated aerodynamics components (both exterior and interior), longer front fenders, and tweaked diffuser design. Interior features depictions of the driver seat, lithium-ion battery and more. Metal-plated part is used to recreate the silver section on the top of the cockpit. Also included are decals for the numerous sponsor logos on the number 7 and 8 cars, plus masking stickers for use in the paint job.
